The story of the Great Nectars
Les Grands Nectars was born from a family story, shaped by a passion for wine and a respect for great terroirs. For three generations, wine has been a part of the Carpentier family's daily life. The maternal grandfather, a wine merchant and founder of Vinolem, and the uncle, owner of the L'Amoureux du Vin wine shop, passed on this taste for sharing, expertise, and authenticity.
At sixteen, an encounter changed everything. While visiting the cellar of a renowned collector, Simon Carpentier discovered for the first time the beauty of a rare bottle. This suspended moment awakened in him a profound curiosity: to understand the story behind each bottle, the patience required for each vintage, and the passion of those who create them. That's where it all began.
Wine Legacy, passion become home
In April 2025, driven by this calling and an entrepreneurial spirit inherited from his parents, Simon and his family founded Wine Legacy. The company is dedicated to selecting, purchasing, and reselling the most prestigious wines from the French vineyards. The name Legacy embodies the family's mission: to preserve, pass on, and elevate fine wines.
This adventure gave birth to Les Grands Nectars, an exceptional showcase and natural extension of Wine Legacy. Each bottle is carefully chosen: excellent estates, rare vintages, impeccable condition, and exemplary storage. This project unites three founding values: excellence, authenticity, and integrity, to offer enthusiasts and collectors privileged access to the rarest wines.
